Question 1

Are you based in Denver – which areas do you serve?

Accepted Answer

Our shop is located in Aurora, just a short drive from Downtown Denver. We work across Aurora and Denver, including the surrounding Metro Area, as well as nearby cities and suburbs. Even if you’re based some distance from Denver, give us a call or send us a message – we’ll let you know if we can help.

Question 2

What installation materials do you use?

Accepted Answer

Material selection depends on the existing structure and the type of wood being used. This can include moisture barriers, fasteners, adhesives, and underlayment systems chosen for compatibility with the substructure. Using the correct installation materials helps reduce movement, noise, and premature wear once the work is complete.

Question 3

Do you take on commercial flooring projects?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We work on commercial flooring projects for offices, retail spaces, and other active business environments. These jobs involve larger surface areas and higher daily foot traffic, meaning the materials, install methods, and scheduling all need to account for sustained use without disrupting daily operations. Depending on the scope of the job, we can plan the work around your operating hours to minimize disruption to your business. The same workmanship standards apply, with added consideration for durability due to constant wear, rolling loads, and long-term maintenance demands.

Question 4

Do you also install carpets?

Accepted Answer

Sure! We install carpet for residential and business spaces, whether it’s a single bedroom or a full property. Our work includes the removal of existing carpet, surface preparation, and precise fitting so the carpet sits flat and wears evenly over time. This means clients don’t need to find a separate Denver carpet contractor on top of wood flooring professionals when planning a project. We help you select carpet based on foot traffic, how the space is used, and maintenance expectations.

Question 5

What should homeowners know before starting residential flooring work?

Accepted Answer

Before residential flooring work begins, homeowners should plan for some short-term disruption to daily routines. Furniture will need to be cleared from the work area, and access to certain rooms may be limited during the install or refinishing phase. Dust control measures are used, but pets should be kept away from the work zone for safety and to protect finishes while they cure. Drying and cure times vary by the products used, affecting when surfaces can be walked on or when furniture can be moved back. We review all these details with you in advance so there are no surprises once work is underway.

Question 6

How do I choose between different flooring options?

Accepted Answer

The right choice depends on layout, expected wear, and how you want the space to feel over time. Wood species, board width, and finish type all affect maintenance and longevity. We walk you through all of these flooring options during the estimate so you can base your decisions on realistic performance expectations, budget, and how the floor will age in daily use rather than on appearance alone.

Question 7

Do I need to visit your shop before getting started?

Accepted Answer

No. We don’t operate a public retail store – instead, projects begin with an on-site visit where measurements are taken and the conditions of your space are reviewed, so there’s no need to make a trip out to a flooring shop. Samples and choice of products can be discussed during that visit too. This allows decisions to be made in the context of the space itself rather than under showroom lighting or pressure from retailers.
